Adirondack Architectural Heritage (AARCH) is the nonprofit historic preservation organization for New York State’s Adirondack Park. Formed in 1990, AARCH’s mission is to promote public understanding, appreciation and stewardship of the Adirondack region’s unique and diverse architectural heritage. This legacy includes not only the nationally recognized “Great Camps” but also the many other buildings that embody the whole range of human experience in the region, including homes, farmsteads, churches, commercial buildings, bridges, lighthouses, and historic industrial sites.

AARCH advances these aims through its rich educational programming, technical assistance, and advocacy.
