AARCH was founded in 1990 as part of the effort to save Camp Santanoni and remains deeply involved at the site. As the regional historic preservation nonprofit for the Adirondacks, AARCH offers one-of-a-kind educational tours, helps with building conservation, research, and documentation, and advocates for the region’s unique historic resources.
